Common questions
Can I use my own branding on the proposals?
Yes, that's the point. Set your logo, colours and company details once, and every proposal and PDF goes out fully branded as your business. Caolú's name doesn't appear to your customer.
Can I add my own hardware and datasheets?
Yes. Build your own equipment catalogue, your panels, inverters and batteries, with photos, specs and datasheet links. Those appear on the proposal so the spec is genuinely yours.
How long does a proposal take to produce?
Minutes. You run the guided assessment on the visit, and the branded PDF is generated when you're ready, typically sent to the customer the same day.
Is the lead funnel included?
The lead funnel is an optional add-on, not part of the core platform. Many installers already have plenty of enquiries and just want a faster, more professional way to quote. Add the funnel only if you want to capture more leads from your website.
Is it built for Ireland specifically?
Yes. Irish county irradiance, SEAI grant automation, NC6/NC7 compliance, CEG export rates and Irish supplier tariffs are all built in. It's not a global app adapted for Ireland.

Does it work at the kitchen table on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Caolú is mobile-first. Most installers run the assessment on a phone or tablet on the visit, and quote from the office for telesales or follow-ups.
Is it built for a one-person operation?
Yes. Most Caolú users are owner-operators, SEAI-registered installers doing their own sales, scheduling and follow-up. The whole app is built for that. When you're ready to take someone on, you can add installers from your account, each with their own login, and billing adjusts so you only pay for active users.

Where is my data stored?
On EU servers in Frankfurt, GDPR compliant by design. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Caolú is never in the money flow.
