Common questions
What's the real difference between ownership and Caolú-hosted?
With ownership, we hand you everything, including hosting access, and you (or whoever you choose) look after it from year two. With Caolú-hosted, we keep looking after it: hosting, security and software updates, your small changes, a monthly report. Ownership costs a bit more upfront, hosted costs less to start with a small monthly fee from year two.
Can I switch from Caolú-hosted to full ownership later?
Yes. Tell us when you're ready and we'll talk through what that looks like for your specific site.
I don't have a domain. What happens?
We register one for you as part of the Year 1 build. A domain is just your website's address (like yourbusiness.ie) — we handle the technical setup either way. If you'd like your own domain transferred into your name at any point, that's no problem, any time, free of charge.
Can I keep my existing branding, or does it have to be new?
Whatever you've already got, logo, colours, a look you like, we'll work with it. If you don't have a brand yet, or it needs a refresh, that's built into the same process.
Is there a contract or lock-in?
No long lock-in on the ongoing side. The Year 1 build is a one-off, and if you take Caolú-hosted afterwards, you can move on whenever you want.
What if I'm not happy with the design?
We build from what you tell us about the business, your photos, your brand, sites you like the look of, so it starts close to right. If something's off once you see it, tell us and we fix it before it goes live.
Do you handle Google Business Profile and reviews too?
Not part of the core build, but we're happy to point you in the right direction if you're setting one up. The website itself is built to link cleanly to wherever your reviews live.
What does "SEO and AEO optimised" actually mean here?
SEO is being found in a Google search. AEO is being found (and quoted accurately) when someone asks an AI assistant a question like 'who does solar installs in Meath' or 'best electrician website Ireland'. Both come from the same groundwork: fast pages, clear structure, and content that states facts plainly instead of burying them in marketing language.
